Sacral Chakra

The second chakra is the sacral chakra. The Sanskrit name for this chakra is Svadhisthana, meaning sweetness. The associated element is water. The associated color is orange. The location of this chakra is at the sacrum. The attention shifts from self (1st chakra) to other. The significant aspect of this chakra is change. The chakra is also about attraction of opposites - yin/yang, male/female and dark/light. Blocked emotions repress movement nd restrict the flow of energy through the 2nd chakra.
If this chakra is deficient, there is a fear of change. Our emotions are dull or we have difficulty feeling emotions at all. If this chakra is excessive, the opposite applies. We may be overly emotional or overly influenced by other's emotions, with a result of suffering from lack of boundaries. The real essence of the 2nd chakra is change. Think of something different to do. Notice the effect it has on your sense of well being!
When this chakra is balanced, you will be in touch with your emotions and have a deeper trust of others.
